The Story.
The Idea.
Yas and Cullen were planning a two-day anniversary celebration and vow renewal at Achnagairn Castle in the Scottish Highlands and wanted the drinks service to feel every bit as special as the setting. The brief was centred around great cocktails, relaxed service and a few memorable touches that would make the bar feel like part of the celebration rather than simply somewhere to grab a drink.
The Execution.
We travelled from Yorkshire to Inverness with a four-person team and everything needed to deliver the bar service across both days. Despite initially going for the horsebox bar setup, due to the infamous Highlands weather, we took a last minute pivot to bring our indoor bar. From planning the cocktail menus and managing stock, glassware, ice and garnishes, through to arranging the required Scottish occasional licence, we handled the full setup behind the scenes. We provided a full bar selection over the initial evening and throughout the second day, along with our signature champagne wall post vow renewal.
The Result.
The result was a complete two-day drinks service that complemented the venue and the atmosphere perfectly. Guests enjoyed a carefully planned, extensive cocktail offering alongside attentive, relaxed service, while Yasamin and Cullen were able to enjoy the celebration without worrying about the logistics behind the bar. It was a brilliant example of what we love doing most: taking an ambitious idea, handling every detail and turning it into a memorable experience!
Sam and his team were fabulous bar hosts for our 3-day party. They were able to work with the various changes we made to the schedule, were constantly checking in to make sure our needs were met, and our guests loved them and their drinks.
Honestly, we'd host future events near them just because we know how dependable and excellent their service is.
